Reading share of voice

Share of Voice (SOV) shows what percentage of AI mentions your brand captures compared to competitors.

How SOV is calculated

Your SOV = (Your mentions / Total mentions across all tracked brands) x 100

For example, if your brand is mentioned 40 times and competitors are mentioned 60 times across all prompt runs, your SOV is 40%.

Where to find it

SOV data appears on the Dashboard and in the Competitors section. You can filter by engine, date range, and individual prompts.

Improving SOV

• Create high-quality content that AI engines reference.
• Ensure your brand appears in reputable sources that AI engines crawl.
• Monitor which prompts competitors rank well on and optimize your content for those topics.
